PREMISE:

You are a scientist investigating a curious new strain of parasite. It doesn't have skin, a skeleton, or muscles - you can't see any defining characteristics. Just a glowing, orange, gelatinous thing in a jar.

Perform experiments on the substance to understand it further, whilst tackling everyday challenges like your health, morality, and strangely overprotective friends...
